About the Data

The metrics that power every Athlete Profile and Premium Dossier — and what's been added each week. All data comes from official CMP and Scopos competition records.

Privacy & Data Protection
  • Profiles are built from public competition records.
  • Personal information you submit stays private.
  • Contact info is only accessible to validated coaches.
  • Club-submitted athlete data is not publicly accessible.
  • Search engines are blocked from athlete and profile pages.
  • Your data is never sold or shared with third parties.
  • Athletes control their premium profile.

What This Means for Athletes & Parents

Your scores are automatically pulled from official competition sources — you don't submit anything. Once your profile is active, college coaches can find you, see your verified performance history, and contact you directly.

Your Recruiting Profile is your public page — bio, equipment, academic information, and a full verified competition history with analytics coaches can't find anywhere else.

Your Premium Dossier is the deep technical report — radar charts, consistency scores, M-Value ranking, and shareable recruiter links.

How the Analytics Work

01

APS

Average Points Per Shot
APS = Total Score ÷ Shots Fired

Normalizes raw scores by dividing by shots fired, making every match directly comparable regardless of format. A 570 in a 60-shot qualifier and a 285 in a 30-shot club match both yield APS 9.50.

02

P60

Projected 60-Shot Score
P60 = APS × 60

Projects any score to a standardized 60-shot equivalent. A club APS of 9.40 projects to P60 564 — directly comparable to a national qualifier result of 564, regardless of original match format.

03

Precision Index

Inner-10 Rate
Precision Index = X-Count ÷ Shots Fired

Measures the percentage of shots landing in the inner-10 ring. Separates athletes with similar scores — a higher Precision Index means tighter, more consistent shot placement.

04

M-Value

The Late Bloomer Index
M = (Top 3 APS Avg ÷ Total Matches) × Growth Velocity

Surfaces athletes with high upside who may be undervalued in traditional rankings. Rewards rapid early-career improvement over raw score — identifying athletes trending up, not just those already elite.

05

Consistency Score

Standard Deviation of APS
σ = std dev of last 10 results

Measures how repeatable an athlete's performance is. A low standard deviation means the athlete reliably hits their average. Shown per discipline on every Recruiting Profile.

06

Growth Velocity

Career APS Improvement Rate
GV = ((Latest APS − Earliest APS) ÷ Earliest APS) × 100

Tracks the percentage improvement from an athlete's first recorded result to their most recent. Used as a component of M-Value to identify athletes on an upward trajectory.

Score Averaging — Mixed Scoring Systems

  • Two scoring systems exist: integer (max 600 for 60 shots) and decimal (max 654.0 for 60 shots). A raw average across these two systems is meaningless.
  • When results span both systems, scores are normalized to a percentage of their respective maximum before computing cross-system averages. If all scores are from the same system, raw averaging is used.
  • Finals matches are always excluded from all averages.
